Fire Rips Through Rocky Hill Home

ROCKY HILL, CT — One firefighter was transported to the hospital for evaluation following a structure fire in Rocky Hill on Saturday afternoon, according to a fire department statement. Crews responded to the call for a fire alarm at 18 Fieldstone Drive at 4:30 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find a fully active structure fire and Task Force 51 was called in for assistance. The fire was brought under control by 6 p.m.

The Berlin, Cromwell, Newington, and Wethersfield Fire Departments provided assistance. The Fire Marshal’s Office and Building Department are investigating.
