Veteran's Day Events

The Iwo Jima/World War II Museum will be showing at several locations for Veterans Day. Come visit and see our new displays. On Nov 10th -We Were At Papa's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in New Britain:

Nov 11th - Newington Memorial Funeral Home in Newington 1:00 - 4:00. "Sweaters for Veterans" On November 11, 2017, in honor of Veteran's Day, we are pleased to announce our Sweaters for Veterans Project will have a special collection time from 1:00PM until 4:00PM where friends can bring new or gently used sweaters, hats or gloves to our Newington Memorial location at 20 Bonair Avenue, Newington. Also present at that time will be the Iwo Jima / World War II Museum in our parking lot for all to see. Hot Dogs and refreshments will be served, free of charge. Join us as we remember those who have made and continue to make the Ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom.

Also On Nov 13th - West Hill School, 95 Cronin Dr. Rocky Hill 4-5:00 pm
If there are many visitors, we may stay longer at each location. We'd love to have you stop by.
