Liz Gemski Joins Government Relations Firm Kozak & Salina
Elizabeth "Liz" Gemski has joined the long-time Hartford area government relations duo of David Kozak and Adam Salina.

ROCKY HILL, CT – The long-time Hartford area government relations duo of David Kozak and Adam Salina today announced that Elizabeth “Liz” Gemski has joined their firm, Kozak & Salina, LLC, as Vice President of Government Relations. Gemski comes to Kozak & Salina after 10 years in Hartford at Murtha Cullina LLP, where she was a Government Affairs Consultant in the firm’s Government Affairs Group.

Kozak & Salina was formed in June 2009 as a full-service government relations consulting firm. The firm’s two principals, David Kozak and Adam Salina, both came from long careers in public service. Kozak previously served as a top staff member to former Congresswoman Barbara Kennelly (D-1st District) and successfully ran several of her re-election campaigns. Salina became one of the youngest mayors in the state of Connecticut at the age of 28, serving 10 years as the Mayor of Berlin. Prior to serving as Mayor, Salina worked as an aide to Congressman John Larson (D-1st District).
In addition to her work at Murtha Cullina, Gemski previously served as the State Vice President of Health and Advocacy Initiatives for the American Cancer Society in Rhode Island. In addition, she has extensive lobbying experience in multiple New England States and in Washington, DC on the Federal level.
With the addition of Gemski, the firm now represents 40 clients covering a broad spectrum of industries from health care to manufacturing and real estate development to technology.
