New Restaurant Opens In Rocky Hill

ROCKY HILL, CT — Brizo , a new restaurant at 945 Cromwell Avenue in Rocky Hill, has opened for business.

Named for the Greek goddess of fishermen, Brizo's menu is founded on fundamentally classic, well executed seafood dishes, pulling their catches daily from the very best local suppliers available. Seafood is, whenever possible, New England based. Other CT sourced menu items include: cheeses, breads, spirits, wines, and craft beers. Playful weekly specials reflect seasonal availability as well as holiday trends.

The main menu is built upon smaller, shareable Marketplace dishes, such as Seafood Ceviche, in addition to Big Plates, ranging from Haddock Etouffee and Lobster Papparedelle to a classic Connecticut style Lobster Roll. Brizo also caters to those with dietary restrictions with several gluten free menu items, such as Fish and Chips, vegetarian options such as The Vegetable Tasting (featuring quinoa and cauliflower risotto), and seasonal salad selections.

Non seafood lovers can enjoy a Tavern Burger crafted with domestic wagyu house blend all natural beef and house made pickles, or the All Natural Chicken entree - to name just a few. Other favorites include a large selection of oysters - available either raw or roasted - Harpoon UFO white steamed clams, and mussels.

Operations Manager, says "I wanted to provide the Connecticut restaurant scene with a menu of ocean to table, heavy hitting seafood classics, drawing on culinary inspiration from the Mediterranean to Louisiana. Brizo is currently open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday at 4 pm. Happy Hour is available
