Nutmeg Celebrates New Rocky Hill Location with Ribbon-Cutting
Credit Union relaunches branch location following office consolidation

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union recently celebrated the grand reopening of its Rocky Hill location with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event came as a result of the credit union’s recent office consolidation, which included the relocation of the Rocky Hill branch across the street from its original space at 521 Cromwell Avenue.
Now located at 520 Cromwell Ave, the versatile new branch features both a traditional teller line and full self-service banking technology. Like all Nutmeg branches, members may use this location to open accounts, apply for loans and complete various transactions such as account transfers, loan payments, check and cash deposits or withdrawals and much more.
“As always, our mission is to provide exceptional banking services with easy-to-use technology,” said John Holt, President and CEO of Nutmeg. “I am confident that the Rocky Hill branch will be even more successful in its new space with the increasing self-service options available to our members.”
Also in attendance at the ceremony were representatives Dhilan Shah and Gerry Luczak from the Connecticut Chamber of Commerce as well as Rocky Hill Mayor Joe Kochanek. In cooperation with Nutmeg staff, the group facilitated the ribbon cutting and officially launched the relocated and remodeled Rocky Hill branch at its new location.
“Moving the Rocky Hill branch is just another step in the right direction for us,” said Holt. “I’m excited to say the transition has gone smoothly and look forward to providing the best banking experience possible for our members there.”
