Along with his parents, Joe was predeceased by two brothers, Stephen Gall and Robert Gall.
Joe was known for his great sense of humor and his laugh. He was always so generous in wanting everyone to enjoy their time together. He loved his family and always talked about his sons. He was very proud of them. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, talking walks to the docks. Almost, every summer, as a young man, with his family he would go to Beaverdale, PA to visit. Joe and his brothers would visit at Uncle Eddie’s house, sitting around drinking beers and laughing all night long. Such good memories of time together.

He was a jokester who loved calling his nephews “meatball heads”!

Growing up, he had a great friend Tommy, and my mother would say that he loved to hang out with his friend and drink Pepsi and eat potato chips! A loyal friend. Tommy and Joe joined the Navy together on the buddy system. He was like a second father to his sister. Even with the age difference like best friends. Having breakfast at the Bridgeport Flyer. He loved “Lasses” and their famous roast beef sandwiches.

When Steve and his brother Joe would get together – than would just laugh. A lot of laughter characterized much of his life. The wonderful staff at Rocky Hill VA said they will miss his smile.
We would like to thank everyone at the Rocky Hill State Veterans Home for their love, concern and great care for Joe. Thank you to all of his friends he made there too.
A service and burial with full military honors will be held at a later date due to Covid-19. To share memories or send condolences to the family, please visit www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
