Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Rocky Hill: Police

The pedestrian was hit by a car in February and died 11 days later as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Thomas Caruso, 59, of Rocky Hill died as a result of injuries he sustained after being hit by a car on Monday, Feb. 17 on New Britain Avenue, police said.

Police said Caruso died as a result of the accident on Friday, Feb. 28. The driver of the involved vehicle continues to cooperate with the investigation that is being conducted by the Mid-State Accident Reconstruction Team, police said.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Vanturas at (860) 258-7640 and reference case number 20-3589.
