Remembering Jesse Harrison on Memorial Day

The Rocky Hill man was one of the most decorated veterans in Connecticut.

While Jesse Harrison may have passed away earlier this year, his legacy will live on.

The Hartford Courant reports that Harrison, who was in the Army Air Corps., passed away on April 21 - on his 94th birthday.

He flew on D-Day and survived being shot down in the Netherlands, but didn’t talk about what he had seen and done during WWII.
