Rocky Hill Advances to Football Semifinals

The opening round of the CIAC football playoffs came and went Tuesday night with very few surprises, and even fewer contests that were competitive, at least on the scoreboard.

Just two of the 16 quarterfinal matchups ended with scoring margins in single digits, with 10 games having differentials of 20 points or more. Three of the four No. 1 seeds advanced to the semifinal round.
