Rocky Hill Has Dual Indoor Track Champion, 4 Other Placewinners

The CIAC indoor track and field championships were conducted Thursday through Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Led by a dual individual event champion, including a record-breaking performance, and four other placewinners, Rocky Hill High School took second place in the CIAC Class M girls indoor track and field championships at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

Elizabeth Stockman won the 3200 meter run in 10:54.02, setting a new Class M meet record. She also captured the 1600 meter run in 5:03.68.

  • 2nd - 4 x 800 relay
  • 3rd - Victoria Bower, 300 meters
  • 4th - 1600 sprint medley
  • 5th - 4 x 400 relay

The championships were held Thursday through Saturday: Class L on Thursday, Class M on Friday and Classes LL and S on Saturday. Click the class headers for complete results.

The State Open will also take place at the Floyd Little Athletic Center on Saturday, Feb. 17.
