Rocky Hill Honors Firefighters Who Rescued Person From CT River
Firefighters Edward and William Kelley will be presented with the ribbon of valor for a December rescue at the Connecticut River.

ROCKY HILL, CT — On Monday March 1, 2021, The Rocky Hill Fire Department will hold an oath of office and awards ceremony at the beginning of the scheduled town council meeting.
The ceremony will begin 1900 hours, with Deputy Chiefs Stevens and Gerace receiving the oath of office.

Immediately following, Firefighters Edward and William Kelley will be presented the department’s highest award, the ribbon of valor for the December 22, 2020, rescue at the Connecticut River.
Unfortunately, due to covid restrictions this is an invitation-only event, with a very limited guest list.
