Rocky Hill November 6, referendum

11/6 Rocky Hill Referendum

Seniors understood what the goal of this Town was. WE GOT IT!!! We may move slowly but we understood loud and clear.

Other towns also "GOT IT:, they understood that seniors are a group that nurture each other and need to be in their own environment. These towns are still moving on with the town activities that are INTERGENERATIONAL and seniors get involved when they feel comfortable. Rocky Hill never "GOT IT"

Already there are those questioning is it wise to spend all this money on an addition that might be obsolete in a very few years. It is larger but if this is for the benefit of a town that is quickly growing in population, will it be functional for at least 20 years???

Our taxes will go up about $100/$126. Might be a drop in the bucket for some but not seniors on a fixed income!

There will always be the parking issue as well. Not senior friendly that's for sure.

There was never mention of a hot lunch program for the seniors, only a cafe. Money spent to bring the kitchen up to standard and now not used!!!! What a waste of our money.

Being an election year, this was all politically orchestrated for the benefit of the town politicians.

The town is giving you an addition, take it or leave it, there will be nothing else. A direct threat from the Senior Liaison Committee.

Seniors you need to come out and vote NO, we have to ban together, we are sick and tired of having to

COMPROMISE!!!
