Rocky Hill Nursing Home Fined, Ordered to Hire Consultant: Report
State health officials found several violations, according to a report.

ROCKY HILL, CT — Operators of a Rocky Hill nursing home have been fined $5,000 and ordered it to hire an independent nursing consultant after state officials cited two dozen violations noticed on unannounced visits, according to a report by the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Apple Rehabilitation of Rocky Hill must hire an independent consultant who is a registered nurse, someone pre-approved by the state Department of Public Health, for a six-month period, according to the report.
