Rocky Hill Obituary: Michael Larkin, 72

Condolences to his family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Joseph Larkin. God called him to his final resting place on Saturday, September 1, 2018 after a brief illness.

Born on December 19, 1945 in Cambria Heights, NY, he graduated from Aviation High School and went on to study aeronautical engineering at Parks College of St. Louis University. He spent over 40 years at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Group, and earned many awards, in addition to being granted numerous patents.

He loved baseball, a passion he shared with his grandsons, and was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. He was a lover of music, especially classical and Doo Wop, and enjoyed sharing his favorites with his family. He was inquisitive, inventive, kind, funny, and the smartest, best man we knew.
