Sarah "Sally" Fairfax Cadmus, 72, of Rocky Hill, passed away on August 2, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Virginia on March 31, 1946 a daughter of the late Wesley Sheldon Cadmus and Rita LaPalme Cadmus Rarey. Sally was a beautiful person, inside and out. Her life was all about helping others, particularly those who were overlooked by others. She left those who loved her with so many lessons and her wisdom, and in that way she will be with us always.
Sally graduated from Rocky Hill High School, Hartford College for Women and University of Illinois. She was a social worker for several departments in the State of Connecticut over her entire career. In retirement she was a hospice and a nursing home volunteer. She was also a volunteer and supporter of several animal welfare groups, and an active member of the Rocky Hill Historical Society.
