Rocky Hill Salon Client Goes In for Haircut, Gets Early Cancer Warning
The stylist at Gugliotti Salon and Spa noticed a lump on the customer's neck during her haircuts.

Six months ago, while cutting a local woman’s hair, stylist Leonardo Gugliotti noticed a lump on her neck. Three months after that, on a return trip, he noticed it again and urged her to get it checked out.
The customer, Angela Vonella, was diagnosed with late Stage 1 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment, according to a report by WFSB.
In the report, Vonella credits Gugliotti with saving her life.
Gugliotti told Channel 3 he considers it a part of his job to look out for the overall well being of his clients and is a proponent of “Cut It Out,” a program in which stylists learn to spot signs of abuse and other potential health issues.
