Rocky Hill Town Hall Closes To The Public Due To Coronavirus
Town staff remain accessible by phone or email.
ROCKY HILL, CT — Town Hall and the Human Services office in Rocky Hill will be closed to the public beginning at 4:30 p.m. Thursday due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has resulted recently in an uptick in cases throughout the state, according to town officials. The Rocky Hill Town Hall building is at 761 Old Main St., and the Human Services department is at 699 Old Main St.
The move to close the facilities to the public is out of caution "to protect town employees and town residents' health." Rocky Hill has reported 46 new coronavirus cases in the past week, bringing the town's total since the pandemic began to 605, as of Tuesday, according to state health officials.
Town government will remain operational, and town staff will still be accessible via phone or email during regular business hours, which are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
