Suspect's Vehicle Hits Rocky Hill Police Car

A domestic incident Sunday led to a suspect striking a Rocky Hill police car with their car.

ROCKY HILL, CT — A domestic incident Sunday led to a suspect striking a Rocky Hill police car with their car, according to police. A juvenile was in the suspect's car at the time, who police later found unharmed.

The incident started when police received a 911 call at 5:05 p.m. reporting a fight in the parking lot of the On the Border Restaurant at 1519 Silas Deane Highway. Police determined it was a domestic incident, and a person involved left the restaurant prior to police arriving.

The suspect was located nearby in a car and a police officer positioned his car behind the suspect. The suspect quickly reversed and struck the police car's front push bumper before fleeing.

Police did not pursue the suspect's car. The police officer was not injured.

Police later found a juvenile who was in the suspect's car at the time. The juvenile was unharmed, according to police.
