Victim Carjacked At Gunpoint In Broad Daylight: Rocky Hill Police
The person was sitting in their vehicle when they were robbed at gunpoint, according to police.
ROCKY HILL, CT — A person was robbed of their vehicle at gunpoint Monday afternoon in Rocky Hill, according to police.
The vehicle, a red 2019 Alfa Romeo with CT registration AU21876, was stolen while the victim was sitting inside it in the parking lot at 53 New Britain Ave. around 3 p.m., according to police.
Police said the carjacker used a gun to force the victim from the vehicle and fled on New Britain Avenue in an unknown direction.

The victim wasn’t injured, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black man who was wearing a white-hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black shoes and a black mask.

The vehicle has been recovered undamaged in Windsor, police said in an update Tuesday. It is being processed for any potential evidence, according to police.
