WEATHER UPDATE: Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Rocky Hill
In the work week forecast, we'll let you know when the stormy weather is possible and what the forecast looks like for each day of the week.

The back-to-work forecast overall looks good, but there is a chance for thunderstorms after 9 p.m. tonight (Monday) and more thunderstorms are possible after noon on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
In fact, the NWS has issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for Hartford and Tolland counties for Monday and Tuesday because some of the storms may be “strong to possibly severe with gusty winds and hail being the main threats.”

For the rest of the state - including Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties - there are no advisories currently posted, but the weather service says there is a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms beginning after 9 p.m. tonight and more unsettled weather is possible Tuesday afternoon.
On Monday, the temps will be steamy as we could hit 90 degrees again, upper 80s to 90 again on Tuesday, and after that, the heat breaks for the rest of the week.

On Wednesday and Thursday, we can expect sunny skies with temps around 80 degrees, and showers are possible on Friday with highs in the upper 70s.
