WFSB Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat
Channel 3 not able to broadcast 5 and 5:30 news shows.

According to several reports, WFSB in Rocky Hill has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.Â
Rocky Hill Police is on the scene.Â
WFSB employees Dennis House and Karen Lee both tweeted photos that said the studio was evacuated. The scroll on the bottom of the WFSB screen said "the building was evacuated due to unforeseen circumstances."
Instead of Eyewitness News as was scheduled at 5:30, a replay of Better Connecticut was being shown. They were able to broadcast Eyewitness News at 6 p.m.Â
At about 6:30 p.m. a message on the WFSB website said the building was checked and cleared by the Rocky Hill Police and Fire Departments which allowed employees to go back inside.Â
