2 Stamford Businesses Among 24 Recent Liquor License Suspensions

STAMFORD, CT — Two dozen Connecticut businesses, including two establishments in Stamford, had their liquor licenses suspended between February and April 2018, according to public information from the Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

Both Vinny's Backyard and West Main Liquor Store served one-day license suspensions in April.

Suspensions ranging from one to four days and fines between $250 and $3,000 were meted out for various offenses, such as selling liquor to minors, refusal of cooperation by permittees and backers, sanitation, purchase for resale, minors in barrooms and conduct of permit premises-brawls and disturbances.
