Black Lives Matter Street Mural Repainted In Stamford
The mural was repainted as part of the rescheduled Juneteenth celebration.

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford community gathered on Sunday to restore the Black Lives Matter mural at the intersection of Broad Street and Bedford Street near the Ferguson Library. The event was held to celebrate Juneteenth after it was canceled due to weather earlier this month.
The event also featured live music, family story time, sidewalk chalk art activities for kids, and the presentation of the Stamford ICON award, which went to Al Thomas.
