Bobcat Spotted in Stamford

Stamford, CT- A bobcat was spotted in a Stamford resident's backyard.

A resident captured the bobcat on video in her yard July 2, according to the Stamford Advocate. The cat was in the yard, climbed a tree and then came down again.

According to the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection website, adult male bobcats typically weigh between 18 and 35 pounds and measure from 32 to 37 inches in length. Adult females typically weigh between 15 and 30 pounds and measure from 28 to 32 inches in length.
