Coyotes Need to be 'Hazed' in Stamford: Wildlife Expert

The animals are here to stay, but certain human behavior can control them.

STAMFORD, CT—A wildlife expert with the Human Society of the United States told Stamford residents and officials that the coyote population is here to stay, but can be managed with certain behavior.

Trapping and lethal removal only temporarily solve the problem and coyotes are quick to adapt, according to the Stamford Advocate.

People can make their presence known and make themselves look bigger to scare off coyotes. They should in turn teach their young to avoid certain areas or human contact.
