CT Gov. Ned Lamont Has Hip Surgery, Recovering At Home
Gov. Ned Lamont underwent surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Stamford.

CONNECTICUT — Governor Ned Lamont is home, with a new hip.
Lamont is recovering from a previously scheduled surgical procedure to replace his hip, according to his communications director, Max Reiss.
The procedure was conducted at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Stamford.

"Governor Lamont's medical team says he is on track for a speedy recovery," Reiss said in a news release late Wednesday afternoon. "He is feeling well and will undergo physical therapy to aid in his recuperation."
