Details Emerge In Fatal Stabbing In Stamford

Denise McLaughlin, 50, was found dead in her Manor Street home on Friday night.

STAMFORD, CT — The 50-year-old Stamford woman found dead in her home Friday night was a New York apartment building owner who reportedly had not been heard from for a few days before she was discovered.

Denise McLaughlin's body was found by police at about 9 p.m. on Friday in her Manor Street home. She had been stabbed multiple times, reports the Stamford Advocate.

McLaughlin may have been dead for several days, according to police, because friends had been trying to contact her to no avail.
