Early Morning Shootout Near Elementary School Under Investigation
Stamford Police are investigating a shootout that occurred in the early morning hours on June 13 near Springdale Elementary School.
STAMFORD, CT — Police are investigating a shootout that occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 13, near Springdale Elementary School and the Ferguson Library branch on Hope Street.
According to Capt. Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police Department, at around 4 a.m. on Sunday shots were exchanged between a dark colored sedan and a white sedan.
"We have no report of anyone being injured and we have no report of anything getting hit. Several shots were fired back and forth and the cars took off at a high rate of speed," Conklin said.
