An Evening with Alka Joshi, Author of The Henna Artist

Alka Joshi, author of the best-selling book The Henna Artist will be the featured speaker on Tuesday, February 16 at 6 p.m. via Zoom webinar. The program is part of the Friends Author Series, which brings bestselling authors to The Ferguson Library and is now continuing via Zoom.

A touching tribute to the life her mother didn’t have the opportunity to lead, Alka Joshi’s debut novel, The Henna Artist is set in post-Raj 1950s Jaipur, about a young woman struggling to shape her own destiny in a world pivoting between the traditional and the modern.
