
The Greenwich Art Society’s Flinn Show Member Exhibition
Greenwich, CT –– The Greenwich Art Society proudly presents its Annual Members Flinn Exhibition, at the Flinn Gallery in the Greenwich Public Library. The show takes place from June 29, 2017 thru July 19, 2017. There will be a public reception on Thursday, June 29 from 6:00pm-8pm. The Greenwich Public Library and Flinn Gallery are located at 101 West Putnam Ave., Greenwich, CT.
The Greenwich Art Society Annual Members Flinn Exhibition is a theme-exhibit with this year’s theme being – “Peripheral Vision.” The Annual Members Exhibition draws fine artists from the entire tri-state region, creating a highly competitive venue. Many of the Society’s artists/members are locally and regionally recognized for their work and have shown in galleries and art fairs in NYC and beyond. Artist awards: $2000 to be awarded at public reception.

Juror: Tamar Margalit is an Assistant Curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art, NY. She is currently working on the forthcoming museum retrospective of Donald Judd. Prior to joining MoMA, she was a Director of Exhibitions at Luxembourg That Obscure Object of Desire Body/Building & Dayan Gallery, where she curated the group exhibitions In the Making (2016) and (2014); the solo exhibition Enrico Baj (2015); and organized the performance series (2015). Tamar holds an M.A. in Modern Art History from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Art History and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
