Physician and Stamford’s former Health Director, Andrew Dennis McBride, shares photographs of Cuba taken on his 2003 Global Exchange trip to study the Cuban health system. The exhibit shares with us images of life under Fidel Castro’s leadership. Contrasts between the poverty and the vital and culturally-rich country are displayed along with images of world-renowned performance artist, Manuel Mendive; frescoes by José Fuster and concerts by the Buena Vista Social Club, Los Van Van and La Colmenita Children’s Theater Company.

Dr. McBride was the Director of Health and Medical Advisor of Stamford from 1988 -1998.
