According to the Stamford Advocate, the production will move to Beal Street from April 20-23, then resume a few days later on April 26. Signs posted by the film crew indicate filming will take place from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

According to Frank Petise, the interim bureau chief of the city's transportation, traffic and parking department, representatives for the production attended last month's Traffic Advisory Committee meeting to coordinate with the city. He also noted the production has remained in contact with the city, including the Stamford Police Department, throughout the process.

Petise said some parking will be effected by filming, which has been and will be posted for no parking throughout the various filming days, however there will not be any all-day road closures to his knowledge.

"There are periodic 'closures' where they have to stop traffic in order to film certain scenes," Petise said in an email, "and they will hire police officers to assist with that."

Last month, an online casting call indicated the production was seeking background actors from the area.

Mayor David Martin also expressed excitement last month that Netflix chose to film "The Good Nurse" in Stamford.

"Stamford has many attractive settings," Martin said last month, "with a vibrant downtown, beautiful beaches, peaceful suburbs, rolling woods and everything in between. It's what makes Stamford a great place to live, and an ideal place to film in too. Maybe this will be the beginning of more films produced in Stamford, not only from studios like Netflix, but also from local students and artists who recognize the beauty of our city."

According to Deadline, "The Good Nurse" is based on the true story of the pursuit and capture of prolific serial killer and nurse Charlie Cullen. Redmayne will take on the Cullen role and Chastain will play a nurse who worked alongside the killer and helped police capture him.

Tobias Lindholm is set to direct the project, which is based on a book by Charles Graeber, according to the Internet Movie Database. Krysty Wilson-Cairns wrote the screenplay.

Redmayne recently starred in the Netflix film "The Trial of the Chicago 7," which was nominated this year for an Academy Award for Best Picture. He also had roles in the "Fantastic Beasts" film series, "Les Miserables" and "The Theory of Everything."

Chastain has starred in films such as "Zero Dark Thirty," "Molly's Game," "Interstellar" and "The Help." Nnamdi Asomugha also recently joined the "Good Nurse" cast.
