Fairgate Farm is located on Stillwater Avenue on Stamford's West Side.

STAMFORD, CT — Fairgate Farm, a communal farm located on Stillwater Avenue on Stamford's West Side, is launching a farmers market on Thursday that will run through October, organizers announced on the farm's Facebook page.

The farmers market will be open on Thursdays from noon to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

Owned by Charter Oak Communities, Fairgate Farm and the farmers market is designed to help spread healthy, organic eating habits throughout Stamford but particularly to areas that are underserved by fresh food options, Charter Oak CEO Vin Tufo told the Stamford Advocate.
