NY Woman Spots Stamford Man Wearing Her Stolen Jewelry

A 26-year-old woman called police when she saw a man wearing a distinct piece of jewelry that was allegedly stolen from her Port Chester, NY, home two years ago. 

She saw the man, who is an acquaintance, wearing one of her earrings as a pendant at La Grato Bar on Adee Street at 3:30 a.m. on September 30, police said. 

Her brother presented the other earring that had not been stolen to police who determined it was a perfect match. They charged 28-year-old Stamford man with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor.
