Daniel Edward Richter, 75, of Stamford, Connecticut passed away peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, April 8th, 2021.
Born on May 31, 1945 in Stamford Connecticut to Robert and Ruth Richter he was the youngest of five children. Daniel attended Stamford public schools and JM Wright Technical high school where he played soccer and studied auto mechanics.

Daniel was a former limousine driver for over 30 years and drove many celebrities. Daniel was a caring, dedicated husband and father and in his spare time he watched sports and was an avid Mets, Jets and NASCAR fan. Daniel also had a love for the ocean, racquetball and Colony pizza.
Danny, as he was affectionately called by friends and family, is survived by his wife of 52 years Kathleen “Candy” Richter(née Connors)his daughter Maribeth Richter, his two sons Daniel(Janelly)Richter, David (Jessica)Richter. Grandfather to Steven(Felicia), Taylor(Randy), Antonio and Great Grandfather to Emma. His Sisters Ruthie Snodgrass, Barbara(Charles)Stamatelos and brother Richard(Madeleine)Richter. Brother in-law Robert(Judi) Connors, also several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Robert, mother Ruth, brother Robert Jr. and brother-in-law Charles Snodgrass. Services will be private and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
