Obituary: Francis James Hearn, 84, Of Stamford

Francis James Hearn (Frank) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021 at his home in Stamford, CT. He was 84.

Frank was a resident of Stamford, CT and formerly a resident of Mamaroneck, NY, where he lived for 33 years. Frank was born in New York, NY on June 19, 1936. He was the son of John William and Helen Irene (Breheney) Hearn.

Frank is survived by his family including his loving wife of 57 years, Loretta Hartnett Hearn; 4 children – Francis James Hearn, Jr. (Karen), Christopher Sean Hearn (Kim), Kerri Elizabeth Hearn, and Cathlyn Hearn Rogozinski (Mark); and 8 grandchildren – Francis James Hearn, III, Gillian Rose Hearn, Sean William Hearn, Christopher Alan Powell, Jr., Devlin Breheney Powell, Connor Edward Powell, Anastasia Rose Rogozinski, and Thomas Hearn Rogozinski.

Due to COVID-19, the family will not be receiving friends at this time.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY.

Interment will be private for the family and will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. The funeral will be webcast at:
