Obituary: Pawel Szostkiewicz, 48, Of Stamford

With profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Pawel Szostkiewicz. Pawel, 48, resident of Stamford CT, was born on February 22, 1973 in Lomza, Poland, the son of the late Janina and Ryszard Szostkiewicz.

Pawel was a loving son and brother. He enjoyed traveling to new places and meeting new people. He was an avid reader and collector of Fantastyka journals. His friendship, humor and love for the animals will be greatly missed.

Pawel was survived by his brother Cezary Szostkiewicz and his nephew Patryk Szostkiewicz of Poland. He is also survived by sister-in-law Aldona and her son Mateusz also of Poland.

Respects can be paid during a Memorial Service that will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be made to offset costs of sending/burial his ashes to Poland.
