The iPhone is currently the most commonly used camera in
the world, producing some of the most amazing images ever composed with a
camera. This exploding art form is as
important to the evolution of photography as the Polaroid camera was in 1948 and
has developed at a record pace in the past five years as the resolution quality
for iphone cameras and ipads have improved and graphic applications have been
invented to create virtual effects that turn images into stylized
masterpieces.
Â
The six month exhibit that will feature the work of
California iPhoneographer, Bob Po and a juried collection of work from artists
nationwide. The curators of the Old Town
Hall Museum have teamed up with the Stamford Innovation Center to bring this
dynamic exhibition to the Stamford community as well as offer novice,
intermediate and advanced workshops and also provide an iLearn Gallery where
participants can practice using apps to create photos and art. Join us June
14th from 6 – 9 pm to kick off this exciting and timely socially
relevant exhibition.
