Power Outages Exceed 3,100 In Stamford: Update
Wednesday's snow storm knocked out power to tens of thousands in Connecticut.

STAMFORD, CT — More than 3,100 Stamford Eversource customers are without power as of 12:17 p.m., according to the utility company, as the city and the region grapples with the aftermath of Wednesday's snow storm.
That amount of outages is the third highest number in lower Fairfield County behind Westport (more than 3,800) and Norwalk (more than 3,300). Adjacent Greenwich was reporting just over 1,200 outages for the same time period.

City officials said a couple of dozen roads in Stamford were closed Thursday as of 10:50 a.m.

And the snow emergency is expected to be lifted by 7 p.m.
Snow Emergency will end at 7pm tonight. So cars will need to be moved from city garages by that time. And parking will again be permitted on snow emergency routes.

Earlier on Wednesday, a portion of Rock Rimmon Road in Stamford, between Mayapple Road and Rock Meadow Lane, was closed due to a downed tree, but the road has since been reopened.
