Stamford Creates 'Curbside Pickup Zones' To Help Businesses

The new zones are part of an effort to assist both businesses and Stamford residents during the coronavirus pandemic.

STAMFORD, CT — In an effort to assist both businesses and Stamford residents during the coronavirus pandemic, the city will convert select parking spaces near businesses into Curbside Pickup Zones to facilitate curbside pickup, Mayor David Martin announced.

The first site to receive a Curbside Pickup Zone is at T’s Pizza Kitchen on Pacific Street; another seven additional zones also have been created around Stamford, according to officials:

  • Main Street in front of Tiernan's
  • Main Street in front of Fiesta
  • Lower Summer Street in front of Jerkyz
  • Atlantic Street in front of InThai
  • Atlantic Street in front of Cafe Eats
  • Bedford Street in front of Remo's
  • Bedford Street in front of Hudson Social

Any business interested in receiving a Curbside Pickup Zone is urged to contact Stamford's Transportation, Traffic, and Parking Bureau at 203-977-5466.
