Stamford Kicks Off Pothole Week

Mayor David Martin has announced this year's Pothole Week begins this week in Stamford.

STAMFORD, CT — Mayor David Martin has announced this year's Pothole Week begins Monday, during which residents are encouraged to report potholes to Fix It Stamford to make certain city repair crews know of them as paving season begins.

According to a news release, Fix It Stamford is an online resource for residents to report issues requiring action from city staff. These issues include fallen trees, downed utility wires, zoning violations, traffic light outages, requested health inspections, pothole repairs, illegal dumping, and much more. "Our road crews have already started, so now is the time to get all the winter potholes reported through Fix It Stamford," Martin said in a news release. "Residents can report potholes anytime, but the faster they get reported, the faster our crews can fill them. We have invested more for road improvement than any prior administration. That investment will best pay off if residents will help by letting us know where all the potholes are. And we've made improvements to our Fix It Stamford system to make it simple for any resident to use."

Fix It Stamford is available 24/7, and residents can choose to receive an email for updates on their request. Any resident can submit to Fix It Stamford by visiting www.stamfordct.gov/fixit.
