Stamford Police Department Holds First Clergy Police Academy
The Stamford Police Department recently concluded its first-ever Clergy Police Academy.

STAMFORD, CT — Last week, the Stamford Police Department concluded its first-ever Clergy Police Academy.
In a Facebook post, police said clergy members from Stamford met over the course of several weeks to learn about the city's police department and its numerous initiatives.

"It was a great learning experience for all involved," the post reads. "We can only hope they learned half as much from us and about what we do as we learned from them."
Police also thanked the clergy members "being such a vital and integral part of [the] community."
