Stamford Town Center Introduces ‘Read With Me’ Program
The free eight-week learning series takes place every Tuesday beginning July 11 through Aug. 29 to support early childhood literacy.

From Stamford Town Center: To support early childhood literacy and encourage continued reading habits for students during the summer,Stamford Town Center today announced it will debut the free “Read With Me” program. Every Tuesday beginning July 11 through August 29, children (2-10 years of age) and families are invited to listen to various Stamford community leaders as they read aloud from a children’s book relevant to their profession.
“We are very excited to kick off this incredible program to underscore the importance of literacy,” said Kevin Waters, marketing and sponsorship director for Stamford Town Center. “The response from the business community to serve as guest readers has been tremendous and these leaders are eager to share how reading has played an important role in their personal lives and professions.”
Sponsored by Eversource and Energize CT, the eight-week learning series will take place every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the shopping center’s Grand Court. The first fifty (50) children to register for each event will receive a Stamford Town Center gift bag and a copy of the featured book.
