Stamford Under Severe Thunderstorm Watch

Stamford, along with the rest of Fairfield County, is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. Monday evening. 

In Southern Connecticut, Middlesex, New Haven and New London counties are also under the watch. In Southeast New York, Nassau and Suffolk counties are under the watch. 

Damaging winds and heavy rain are possible with this storm system.
