Stamford Voted 'Best City For Road Trips In Connecticut'

STAMFORD, CT — Planning on going on a road trip any time soon? Make sure you stop in Stamford.

According to Insurify, an online platform which aims to streamline the insurance shopping process, Stamford was voted as the best city in Connecticut to stop in while going on a road trip. A city was chosen in each state.

To determine the best city in each state to visit on a road trip, Insurify looked at proprietary and publicly available data. They rated cities on hospitality and tourism industry size, historic landmark presence, travel affordability, and driving safety.

"I’m thrilled to hear that Stamford was chosen as Connecticut’s number one city for road trips this year," said Mayor David Martin. "I’m proud to say that Stamford continues to be a beautiful place to live and to visit."
