Stop & Shop Reveals Newly Remodeled Stamford Store

Remodeled Store Features a New Look, Expanded Produce and Bakery Departments, Remodeled Floral Department, And More

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, unveiled its newly remodeled store in Stamford, Connecticut, located at 2200 Bedford Street, at its Grand Reopening today. The updates are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options that make grocery shopping easier for local customers.

The Grand Reopening revealed the store’s newly expanded produce and bakery departments featuring more local and organic offerings, an expanded beer selection, remodeled floral department, and a revamped prepared foods section with a wide variety of grab-and-go hot food and deli options such as sandwiches, salads and more, to make meals and entertaining at home easier.

A recent survey commissioned by Stop & Shop found that 70% of those on the East Coast will still be watching this year’s Big Game this weekend and 61% like their wings hot and spicy. In honor of the Grand Reopening and the Big Game, customers who visit the store February 5 through February 7 may enjoy Big Game themed giveaways, samples, bonus GO Reward points, and a pre-packaged slice of celebratory cake to take home, while supplies last.
