Stamford, CT –September 23, 2013 - The Loft Artists

Association is hosting a “Holiday Show & Boutique” at their 575 Pacific

Street galleries from December 13 to 22, with an opening reception Friday,

December 13 from 5 to 8 pm. A variety of items from artwork, to cards,

ceramics, photography, silkscreened items, clothing and jewelry, will be

available to the public over the holiday season. This year’s event features work by member artists from both the Loft

Artists Association and Laurel House.
“These pieces are beautiful,

original, and they make wonderful holiday gifts,” LAA president Ellen Gordon

noted.





 





A portion of the proceeds will go to support the work of Laurel

House, which provides resources and opportunities for people living with mental

illness, bridging the gap between isolation and community.





 





The Loft Artists Association is a non-profit

organization dedicated to building connections within Fairfield County’s visual

arts community and exposing the general public to artists and their work. Their

grassroots events attract thousands of visitors throughout the tri-state area

and have been recognized by funding agencies, including the Connecticut

Commission on the Arts, corporate and private sponsors, the City of Stamford

and by visitors who return year after year.





 





Laurel House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)

non-profit organization located in Stamford, Connecticut that provides

resources and opportunities for people living with mental illness to lead

fulfilling and productive lives in the communities where they live, work and go

to school.





“Holiday Show & Boutique”

is open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4:30 pm. Admission and parking are
