The Greenwich Art Society is hosting this summer’s member show at the Bendheim Gallery. This year’s theme is, “Unity in Diversity.” G.A.S. encourages entrants to consider how diverse points of aesthetic, intellectual, and social views can come together in a unified setting.

This summer’s juror is Hillary Reder is an assistant curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Museum of Modern Art, where she has worked on several exhibitions, including Bodys Isek Kingelez: City Dreams; Making Space: Women Artists and Postwar War Abstraction; A Revolutionary Impulse: The Rise of the Russian Avant-Garde; Jackson Pollock: A Collection Survey, 1934-1954; and Andy Warhol: Soup Cans and Other Works, 1953-1967. Before joining MoMA, she held curatorial positions at the Williams College Museum of Art and the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College.

Cash and other awards totaling over $2000 will be presented at the opening reception.
