STAMFORD, CT — Travelers are asked to avoid the area of Shippan Avenue between Seaview Avenue and the main entrance/exit to Cummings Park due to a water main break in the area, according to police.

Police originally said early Monday morning on Twitter the area was closed, however they later said around 4:30 a.m. to "avoid the area if possible."
