2 Women Charged With Leaving Child Unsupervised In Sex Store Lot
Two New York women are facing charges that they left a 4-year-old child unsupervised while they went into a North Stonington sex store.
NORTH STONINGTON, CT — Two women were arrested on allegations that they left a 4-year-old unsupervised in the parking lot of a sex store Saturday night, according to state police. Troopers received the call at 8 p.m. about a 4-year-old child left alone in a vehicle parked at the Amazing Intimate Essentials Adult Store at 232 Norwich Westerly Road.
Troopers found the boy alone in a vehicle with no parents or guardians in sight. Troopers entered the store and found the parent, a 25-year-old New York woman, and her partner, a 28-year-old New York woman.
The women had been inside the store for about 15 minutes making purchases as the child was left outside, alone.

The 25-year-old woman was charged with risk of injury to a minor and leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle. Her bail was set at $7,500.
The 28-year-old woman was charged with leaving a child unsupervised in a motor vehicle. Her bail was set at $5,000.
